Overview

CDP’s Global Water Forum will focus on the strategic importance of water to organizations; asking companies to consider the role they should play in tackling water challenges and to provide the leadership required to build a more resilient future.

Participants will:

  • Explore the role of business in safeguarding water needs of vulnerable users and the environment;

  • Analyze how investors are promoting greater water security among their portfolio companies; and

  • Address the adjustments needed in the financial and commercial sectors to ensure a more resilient, water secure future for all.

This event marks the release of the annual CDP Global Water Report which analyzes responses from hundreds of companies to 530 investors (with $57 trillion worth in assets) that requested their critical water data. The leading companies, together with insights into what makes good practice are highlighted in the report.
