Eric Roston is editor of Bloomberg’s Sustainability News website, bloomberg.com/sustainability. He is author of the critically acclaimed book THE CARBON AGE: How Life’s Core Element Has Become Civilization’s Greatest Threat. The book traces the dynamic, fundamental science that unifies seemingly disparate parts of our experience: Climate, energy, health, industry — the fastest way to learn the most about the world is through the carbon atom.  Roston joined Bloomberg after serving as a senior analyst on the National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill. He worked at Duke University’s climate change policy think tank, the Nicholas Institue.  Previously, Roston wrote for TIME, in New York and then Washington, where he covered science, technology, and politics.  Roston, who is fluent in Russian, holds an M.A. in Russian history, and a B.A. in modern European history, both from Columbia University. He lives in New York City, with his wife, Karen, and daughter.

Abby is senior investment strategist and president of the Global Markets Institute at Goldman Sachs.  Her outside activities focus on education and public policy. She serves on the White House-appointed Innovation Advisory Board for economic competitiveness. Abby is the chair of the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Theological Seminary. She serves as a presidential councillor at Cornell University and on the boards of the Weill Cornell Medical College, the Brookings Institution and The Economic Club of New York.  Abby is a former board chair of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute. She is a frequent guest lecturer at several universities and graduate schools of business. Her career is the subject of a Harvard Business School case study and a BusinessWeek cover story.

In addition, he leads innovative programs which demonstrate Deloitte’s commitment to driving societal change and promoting environmental sustainability. Collaborating with government, non-profit organizations, and civil society, the Deloitte network is designing and delivering solutions that contribute to a sustainable and prosperous future for all.  Dave joined Deloitte in Vancouver, Canada in 1988. He has more than 20 years’ experience in both public accounting and private industry. From 2007 – 2011 Dave served as CEO of Deloitte CIS. The CIS Firm covers 11 countries in the former Soviet Union.

With 9 years experience in the environmental and sustainable development fields and a strong technical, scientific and project management background, Cate has successfully led on a range of high profile projects in the healthcare, construction, education, commercial and regeneration sectors delivering successful outcomes in terms of both cost and carbon savings.  As the head of CDP’s water program, Cate is responsible for ensuring that the program remains the gold standard for disclosure of corporate water-related information globally and moves rapidly to deliver significant changes in corporate behaviour towards water. Deb Frodl is Global Executive Director, ecomagination. She leads GE’s business strategy and commitment to accelerate innovation and growth in resource constrained world through efficient and intelligent solutions. Deb also leads corporate marketing.  A 24-year GE veteran, Deb began her career with GE Capital Fleet Services and held various positions in marketing and services. In 1991, she joined GE Capital Public Finance in a sales role and then became the Vice President, National Sales Manager for the Municipal Market. In 1999, she accepted the role of President and CEO of Public Finance. She increased her responsibilities by accepting the role of President and CEO for Dealer Financial Services. In 2004, she was named the Chief Marketing Officer for Commercial Equipment Finance where she led a global marketing team. Deb rejoined GE Capital Fleet Services in 2005 as Chief Commercial Officer. In 2010, Deb was named the Chief Strategy Officer for GE Capital Fleet Services and Global Alternative Fuels Leader for GE. Deb was responsible for the commercial organization including strategy, marketing, commercial excellence, telematics and a team member of ecomagination.  Deb is the Executive Champion of the Minneapolis GE Women’s Network and a member of the Executive Steering Committee for GE Commercial Women. She is a board member of Electric Drive Transportation Association and Common Bond. In past years, she served on the America Automotive Leasing Board. Deb was recognized as a Top 25 Industry Leaders by the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal, Most Influential Women in Fleet Management by Automotive Fleet and Sustainability All Star by Green Fleet. She was also recognized by Connected World Magazine as a 2013 Top Women in M2M and Women’s Council on Energy and the Environment as 2014 Woman of the Year.

Deane Dray has more than 25 years of investment experience, including 16 years covering the industrial sector.  Mr. Dray joined Citi Research in June 2010 as a Director and global sector leader of the industrials group, covering the Multi-Industry & Electrical Equipment sector. He is also the global sector leader of Citi’s water research.  Prior to joining CIRA, Mr. Dray spent 11 years as a senior analyst with Goldman Sachs Equity Research covering this sector. He started his Wall Street career at Lehman Brothers, where he worked for ten years in several different capacities, including as an institutional salesperson, a staff officer to the president and CEO of Lehman Brothers, and then as an equity research analyst.  For the past six years, Mr. Dray has served as an advisor to the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI), which assists developing countries with gaining better access to drinking water and waste water treatment resources.  He has published extensively on the global water sector and has hosted investor conferences on this megatrend topic.  He has also been a keynote speaker at water sector forums sponsored by the United Nations, World Bank, World Water Week, and Global Water Intelligence.  Mr. Dray received his B.A. from Brown University with honors and completed his M.B.A. at the New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business.  He is also a CFA charterholder and a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts.

In addition to his role at CCC, James is the Chairman of the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) and a member of HM Treasury's Infrastructure UK advisory council. He also serves as a member of GE's ecomagination board, is Vice-Chair of the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council on Measuring Sustainability and their Advisory Board of the Global Competitiveness Index. He served as a member of the UK Prime Minister's Business Advisory Group (2010 - 2012), and was also a member of Pepsico UK's advisory board (2010-2012).  James is also an advisor to the Climate Bonds Initiative, a trustee member of the UK Green Building Council and was a member of the Green Investment Bank Commission, and is a member of the UK Prime Minister’s Corporate Responsibility Advisory Group.  Prior to CCC, James was Counsel to Baker & McKenzie and was the founder and the head of their Climate Change and Clean Energy Practice. He has spent much of his legal career working on climate change matters, including negotiating the UNFCCC and Kyoto Protocol as an adviser to the Alliance of Small Island States. As a barrister he appeared in several of the leading cases in international and environmental law.

James is also a senior advisor to the Climate Group, chairman of China Dialogue, a member of the development board at the University of Oxford's Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, and a member of the advisory board at the University of Oxford's Environmental Change Institute.  James has held academic positions at Cambridge, London, Bruges, Sydney and Yale. He was educated at Windlesham House, Stowe School, University of Western Australia, University College London (LLB), Queens’ College, Cambridge (LLM), and Inner Temple (called to the Bar 1987).

Farha-Joyce Haboucha, CFA, is the Director of Sustainability & Impact Investing, a Senior Portfolio Manager and a Managing Director of Rockefeller & Co. Joyce manages the Sustainability & Impact Investing Strategy, which incorporates environmental, social and governmental criteria into the investment process.  Prior to joining Rockefeller in 1997, Joyce worked for ten years as a Senior Portfolio Manager and Co-Director of Socially Responsive Investment Services at Neuberger Berman. She was previously with Manufacturers Hanover Trust as a Vice President and Group Head of the Personal Trust Investment, Private Banking and Securities Division and served at Union Trust Company as a Senior Investment Officer, Portfolio Manager and Manager of Research.  Joyce is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder. She received a B.A. in Comparative Literature from Columbia University. Joyce serves on the Board of the CDP USA, the Advisory Board of the Heron Foundation's Community Investment Index, the International Corporate Governance Network Working Group on Integrated Reporting and on the International Integrated Reporting Council Working Group. Joyce has served on the Investment Policy Committee of the Financial Women’s Association of New York, and the Advisory Committee for the Socially Responsible Investment Fund of the Haas Business School at the University of California at Berkeley. Joyce is a former Chairman of the Social Venture Network and also served on the Investment Committee of the United Methodist Church, the board of FTSE4GOOD USA Advisory Committee and several non-profit organizations

During his career William has worked in the financial services industry in different organisations and had several different roles. He has experience in risk management including the building strong governance structures, leading and developing organisations, design of processes and infrastructure for benchmarking, risk measurement, performance measurement and valuation of unlisted and complex fixed income securities and portfolios. In his current role as Global Head of Business Risk he is responsible for Norges Bank’s responsible investments, legal, operational risk, country risk, etc.  He enjoys leading people, likes to drive change and build an organisation including managing people on a day to day basis by empowerment, delegation, setting requirements and enforcing core values. This requires focus on targets and enforcing them. Development of long term strategy and setting high thresholds are key to ensure continued development, it is also important to communicate expectations and make progress measurable.

Paul Dickinson is founder and Executive Chair of CDP, an independent non-profit organization that exists to transform the global economic system to prevent dangerous climate change and value our natural resources by putting relevant information at the heart of business, investment and policy decisions. CDP does this by acting on behalf of 722 signatory investor entities that collectively manage $87 trillion in assets. CDP then uses this financial authority to collect primary information on corporate environmental risk, liability and strategic environmental management and provide it to the global investor community and policy-makers. Paul Dickinson is also founder and Chair of EyeNetwork, Europe’s largest video conference booking service, and prior to founding CDP, founded and built Rufus Leonard, into a multi-million turnover corporate communications company. Paul is also the author of numerous books and articles, including Beautiful Corporations (2000 Financial Times Prentice Hall). Paul holds a masters degree in Sustainability and Responsibility from Ashridge.

Will has been providing hydrogeological, environmental, and sustainability consulting services to private- and public-sector enterprises for more than three decades, with a focus on developing and implementing corporate-wide sustainability strategies, as well as broad based climate and water programs. Sarni’s diverse client list includes Fortune 500 companies, multinational corporations and non- governmental organizations (NGOs). He has managed complex projects throughout the United States, Europe and Asia, working with some of the world’s most recognizable companies. He is also a key team member on the development of the Best Global Green Brands sustainability performance methodology highlighting the value of sustainability in creating brand value.  He has worked with a range of companies in evaluating water technologies and new products and services and in supporting M&A programs. His experience in water tech includes data collection (including remote sensing technologies), analytics and visualization, water efficiency, filtration and treatment technologies.  JAn internationally recognized thought leader on sustainability and corporate water strategies, Sarni is a frequent speaker for corporations, conferences and universities, as well as a columnist on sustainability and water strategies for GreenBiz. He is the author of Corporate Water Strategies (Earthscan 2011,) and of the forthcoming book, Water Tech - A Guide to Innovation, Investment and Business Opportunities in the Water Sector (Routledge 2013). He is currently working on a book on the water, energy, food nexus for publication in late 2013.  Sarni is a Board Member of the Rainforest Alliance, on the Water Leadership Working Group for the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), on the Water Working Group for the Business and Industry Advisory Committee (BIAC) to the OECD, on the Scientific Program Committee for Stockholm World Water Week and an advisor to the University of Cambridge Natural Capital Leaders Platform “The right value for externalities” collaboration, with a focus on the value of water. He is also the Deloitte Project Lead for the 2013 CDP Water Program and the Deloitte technical lead for the IBLF and CEO Water Mandate “Water Action Hub” project.
